A Day Off In July

If you had one day off in July what would you do? This concept album tells the story of that day off for me. Each piece on the album represents a new hour of the day starting with the prelude "First Light" for 6am and finishing with "Last Light" at 11pm. We meet friends, family and loved ones, get out into nature, enjoy nice meals, go to the beach and enjoy some downtime. I hope you enjoy the music and please listen through to hear the whole story.

Hi there! Thanks for coming to visit my site. I'm Richard and compose music for piano but I also dabble with strings and synths. I've played piano since I was young (I forget when because I'm too old now!), and I started to compose and make up tunes in the early years of high school. Generally, I compose in a neo-classical, relaxing style but I do like to mix things up a bit (It's fun to smash the keys once in a while!).

I'm just getting around to updating all my tabs, where I hope to share my music, videos, photos and life with you all and I'll keep you up to date with what's new via the blog so please heads there to find my info.
